Wednesday May 29, 2019
Wednesday May 29, 2019
On episode #30 of The Anxiety Project Podcast, I go over three things you must do in order to mold the new you. Anxiety recovery is all about creating a new identity and subtracting the old habits and patterns you used to run on a daily basis that kept your anxiety alive and your self worth low. To improve the quality of your life, you must expose yourself to new situations and patterns. I see people who are in their 60's running the same patterns as they would when they were 18 years old. People need to update their software, which is their beliefs and values, in order to change the way they act in the world. Once you change your internal world, then your external world changes.

Tuesday Apr 16, 2019
Tuesday Apr 16, 2019
Agoraphobia is the fear of places and/or situations that may make you feel trapped, anxious, helpless, and embarrassed. On this episode, I dive into Agoraphobia and what it is like to experience this type of anxiety disorder. There are ways to overcome Agoraphobia such as: systematic desensitization and rhythmic breathing patterns and I go over them in detail on this podcast episode. People who suffer from Agoraphobia tend to avoid the places that cause them panic, thus growing that very fear bigger and bigger until they are unable to leave their house. It is crucial to not run away from an environment when panic begins to strike because you are then telling your nervous system that this place, and similar places like it, are deadly and should be avoided.
