TAPP #54: Depersonalization & Anxiety
Wednesday Nov 27, 2019
Wednesday Nov 27, 2019
On episode #54, I talk about depersonalization and the reason why we experience it when going through anxiety and trauma. Depersonalization can make you fearful over your state of mind (the thought of going crazy) because it can make you feel detached from yourself, like you are in 3rd person. Also, you may feel like you cannot get a grip over your thoughts and physical actions. When I experienced depersonalization, I felt like I had no balance and I was extremely light headed. In this podcast, I go over the causes of depersonalization and what you can do to get rid of it.

TAPP #53: My Powerful Anxiety Story #6 | The Big Paradigm Shift
Wednesday Nov 20, 2019
Wednesday Nov 20, 2019
On this episode of The Anxiety Project Podcast, I talk about the day I started my anxiety recovery journey. Leading up to that day, I was living a very sensitized and chaotic lifestyle. With no goals and living without a purpose, I was continually catastrophizing over the bodily sensations I was feeling daily. I kept spiralling down deeper into despair. When I found some answers online that day, a huge paradigm shift occurred. "Maybe I don't have a physical illness, maybe it is all in my head," I thought. The goal of this episode is so that you can relate your own experiences with anxiety to my own experiences with anxiety. When you find out that you are not alone, it can be a huge relief.

TAPP #52: The Power of Role Models
Wednesday Nov 13, 2019
Wednesday Nov 13, 2019
On episode #52 of The Anxiety Project Podcast, I go over role models and why finding the right role models is necessary for anxiety recovery. You act out and absorb the beliefs of those people you spend the majority of your time with. It is important to continually surround yourself with role models that promote self growth and guide you through the recovery process. People who are disciplined and have a developing mind-set, are great role models. Anxiety recovery can be very challenging and changing who you are is not easy, but having proper role models is necessary for reaching your goals. You learn how to handle failure from them, you learn what not to do when panic strikes, and you learn how to live an empowering lifestyle. The more you subject yourself to the right role models, the more you unconsciously become like them.

TAPP #51: My Worst Anxiety Symptoms
Wednesday Nov 06, 2019
Wednesday Nov 06, 2019
On this episode, I go over my top 5 worst anxiety symptoms from when I used to suffer from an anxiety disorder. People who suffer from anxiety all experience similar symptoms, but everyone tends to react more strongly to certain symptoms than others. The objective of this podcast episode is to get you familiar with the many symptoms and sensations caused by anxiety, so that you can begin perceiving them differently. When you perceive that dizziness, heart palpitation, or body zap as been life threatening, you snowball that anxiety into full blown panic. If you look at your sensations as being natural and common, then your anxiety will not snowball out of control.

TAPP #50: The 2 Minds
Wednesday Oct 30, 2019
Wednesday Oct 30, 2019
On episode #50, I talk about the 2 mind-sets: the set mind, and the developing mind. Having a set mind-set is having a very narrow view of the world. You speak as if you are capable of change, but never progress forward and change. This was my old self in a nutshell. Deep down, I believed that I was not strong enough to change. The developing mind-set is someone who understands that life is all about constant and never ending improvement towards oneself. To continuously learn and challenge yourself. This mindset is necessary for living a happy and fulfilling life.

TAPP #49: Anxiety and the Power of Habits
Wednesday Oct 23, 2019
Wednesday Oct 23, 2019
On episode #49, I break down habits and how they can be used effectively to improve our anxiety and overall lifestyle. I used to engage in multiple bad habits that kept me in an anxious limited state. I go over the many negative habits anxiety sufferers do daily so that you can relate and become conscious of them. Once we recognize the habits that keep us back from living a fulfilling life, we then can work on new powerful habits to replace the old limiting ones. Like a computer, if we do not update our software, we end up crashing. Pay attention to your habits, they run us unconsciously and they create who we are. We are what we repeatedly do.

TAPP #48: The Reasons Why I Take Cold Showers
Wednesday Oct 16, 2019
Wednesday Oct 16, 2019
On episode #48 of The Anxiety Project Podcast, I talk about the reasons why I take cold showers. Cold showers have been apart of my routine for the last year and a half. They have had a strong positive impact on my overall health and wellbeing. First, cold showers add discipline into my life. I become mentally stronger. To step under that water, you have to fight through all those negative thoughts and excuses on why you shouldn't do it. When you do overcome those limiting thoughts and step under the cold water, you feel empowered and capable of handling any challenge that comes your way. Second, cold showers improves your immune health. You take deep breaths which oxenergizes the body making the blood more alkaline and thus releasing excess CO2. Also, cold showers improves heart, hair, and skin health. Like Wim Hof (The Iceman) says, "Feeling is understanding."
