TAPP #70: Social Events with Anxiety
Wednesday Mar 18, 2020
Wednesday Mar 18, 2020
On episode #70, I talk about how you can mentally prepare yourself for an upcoming event you are anxious about. It can be anything from going into work or school, to a party or a friendly meet up, I go into detail on what you need to do in order to successfully get through the situation with minimal anxiety. If you enter the dragons lair without a proper sword and shield, you will be eaten alive (so to speak). You won't know how to handle the anxiety during the event, so you will most likely leave and thus worsening your anxiety in the future.

TAPP #69: Reasons to Overcome Anxiety
Wednesday Mar 11, 2020
Wednesday Mar 11, 2020
On episode #69 of The Anxiety Project Podcast, I talk about the reasons why you need to overcome your anxiety. If you want to successfully reach the goals you want to obtain, attach pain to not changing and pleasure to change. This will give you the drive to reach them. When met with that resistance, most people resort back to their old unconscious habits because it is just too painful to continue forward. The more pain you attach to staying in your anxious chaotic state, the more you will push yourself past that pain and towards that ideal person. Then by attaching pleasure to your desired future, such as living more mindfully with your family, the more you will manifest that outcome.

TAPP #68: The POWER of Your Anxiety Tool Belt
Wednesday Mar 04, 2020
Wednesday Mar 04, 2020
On episode #68, I go over my transition from anxiety sufferer to the beginning stages of recovery and how developing new tools and techniques for my tool belt became essential for handling the chaos. I will never forget that moment when I had my first paradigm shift (that "aha" moment). I was watching Youtube videos of others talking about health anxiety and it suddenly clicked, maybe I am not actually going crazy and maybe I don't actually have an illness. I then talk about about my journey to recovery and how I began developing the right tools (habits) to reduce my anxiety and live a more peaceful life mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and energetically.

TAPP #65: The Secret to Anxiety Recovery
Wednesday Feb 12, 2020
Wednesday Feb 12, 2020
On episode #65 of The Anxiety Project Podcast, I go over a very powerful tool that is necessary for desensitization. Anxiety sufferers continuously avoid situations that make them feel uneasy. The fear of uncertainty can keep an anxiety sufferer trapped in their safe zone. Then they put bandaids over their anxiety such as: medications, alcohol, junk foods, and reassurance. While they avoid those uncomfortable situations, the dragon grows, and by the time they attempt to confront that chaos, the fear is substantially more intense.

TAPP #64: Feeling Alone with Anxiety
Wednesday Feb 05, 2020
Wednesday Feb 05, 2020
On episode #64 of The Anxiety Project Podcast, I go over 5 ways to overcome that feeling of being alone with anxiety. When I went through my anxiety disorder in the past, I felt alone and helpless. I felt like whatever illness I had was uniquely my own and no one else's. My parents would always tell me to relax or go have a beer and calm down. They would speak to me as if they knew how I was feeling, but to me, I felt like they didn't understand what was going on within me. The goal of this podcast is to provide you with the tools that will help you widen your narrow perspective over your circumstances and help you properly connect with those around you.

TAPP #63: Leaving Your Safe Zone
Wednesday Jan 29, 2020
Wednesday Jan 29, 2020
On episode #63, I talk bout the fears I had leaving my safe zone and what I did to overcome that challenge. My safe zone became my home while I was suffering from agoraphobia. To overcome my fear of having a health crisis in the outside world and having no one around (family or paramedics) to help me, I had to first start small. Small walks led to longer walks which then led to hours sitting at the coffee shop. The outside world became tolerable the more time I spent in it away from my safe zone. The idea here is to work with your emotional brain and to learn to associate walks away from your comfort zone as safe rather than fearful. You will then become braver and find that the outside world is not as scary as you thought it was.
